Los Angeles Sentinel: Rams Rookies Visit Cedars-Sinai
The Los Angeles Sentinel and CBS 2 recently highlighted a visit by the Los Angeles Rams' 2026 rookie class to Cedars-Sinai, where players spent time with patients and families. Cedars-Sinai is the official healthcare partner and trusted doctors of the Los Angeles Rams.
Continuing a longstanding community outreach effort, the professional football players shared gifts and words of encouragement with pediatric patients at Cedars-Sinai Guerin Children’s, families in its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and patients receiving care at Cedars-Sinai Cancer.
Jill Martin, executive vice president of Cedars-Sinai Medical Network, told the Los Angeles Sentinel the visit exemplified the meaningful partnership between the Rams and Cedars-Sinai.
“We really value our sponsorship with the Rams and appreciate the fact that they want to be out there serving the community,” Martin said. “That’s the great part about the sponsorship, that it’s all about what are the things we can do together to be able to help care [for] and support the community of Los Angeles.”
Jalen Logan-Redding, a Rams defensive lineman, told the Los Angeles Sentinel the visit inspired him.
“Being able to get in touch with Los Angeles in that way, it’s really huge for me,” he said.
Rams’ cornerback Al’zillion Hamilton told CBS 2 that visiting newborns in the NICU “gave me the jitters” and that he enjoyed talking to new parents and witnessing their experience.
Another group of Rams rookies visited Cedars-Sinai Marina Hospital, signing autographs, posing for photos and sharing support with patients, families and staff.
