Patient & Family Advisors

At Cedars-Sinai, we are always looking for ways to create the best experience for patients and their families. By joining our Patient & Family Advisor (PFA) program, you can have a seat at the table, working with patients, clinical staff and leadership to help us improve the care we provide. PFAs have been an essential part of Cedars-Sinai's commitment to patient- and family-centered care since our first council in 2010. We value your opinions and welcome your input as a member of the Cedars-Sinai community.

I am forever grateful to the Cedars-Sinai NICU team and, after my experience; I promised myself that if I could be there for another NICU parent and ease their experience in any way, I would. That’s why being invited to be part of the NICU council was so special, as it offered me an opportunity to pay it forward in a very unique way

Kathryn Castro
Patient & Family Advisor

I joined the Patient and Family Advisor program in 2019. We meet monthly with hospital leadership to discuss programs and initiatives to improve the patient experience at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. As an Advisor, we represent the voices of thousands of patients, and it makes the experience even more meaningful when we have the support and dedication of the Patient Experience team and leadership.
