Cedars-Sinai Hosts Health Fairs for Heart Month

To recognize American Heart Month, Cedars-Sinai is sponsoring two free community health fairs—Feb. 23 and 26—to promote health and wellness. The fairs will feature exercise activities and educational programs to help participants make healthy choices. The events welcome people of all ages, from children to seniors. Media are invited to attend as well.

  • Roxbury Park, Beverly Hills This health fair, sponsored by Cedars-Sinai Community Health Improvement and the Smidt Heart Institute at Cedars-Sinai, will offer blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol and hearing screenings as well as education and resources on strokes.  There also will be support staff on-site to assist with questions and resources about Medicare and Medicaid services.

    When: Feb. 23
    Time: 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
    Location: Roxbury Park Basketball Court, 471 S. Roxbury Drive, Beverly Hills, CA 90212
     
  • Seventh-Day Adventist Church: This fair, sponsored by Cedars-Sinai Community Health Improvement, will offer blood pressure screenings, glucose screenings, hearing screenings, resources for seniors and more. Community members and walk-ins are welcome.
