Cedars-Sinai Ranks Among Top U.S. Hospitals for 10th Consecutive Year
Medical Center Named to Honor Roll for 10th Consecutive Year in U.S. News & World Report’s Annual “Best Hospitals” Rankings; Tied for #1 in California and Los Angeles
Cedars-Sinai has been named to the Honor Roll for the 10th consecutive year in U.S. News & World Report’s "Best Hospitals 2025-26" rankings.
The medical center also tied for #1 in California and Los Angeles.
The U.S. News rankings, released Tuesday, are based on patient outcomes, patient experience, technology, ability to handle complex medical conditions and a variety of other health-related measures.
U.S. News selects the top-performing hospitals for the Honor Roll based on their high rankings and ratings in multiple specialties, procedures and conditions.
Cedars-Sinai had 11 specialties ranked nationally in the hospital rankings. The specialty rankings mean Cedars-Sinai is among the top 50 hospitals in the nation in these specific clinical areas.
Three Cedars-Sinai specialties were ranked in the top five nationally:
- Gastroenterology & GI Surgery (#2)
- Orthopedics (#5)
- Pulmonology & Lung Surgery (#5)
Six specialties were ranked in the top 10 nationally. In addition to the three above, the list includes:
- Cardiology, Heart & Vascular Surgery (#6)
- Diabetes & Endocrinology (#9)
- Obstetrics & Gynecology (#8, tied)
Three specialties also were #1 in California (highest U.S. News ranking in the region):
- Cardiology, Heart & Vascular Surgery
- Gastroenterology & GI Surgery
- Orthopedics
One specialty was ranked #1 in Los Angeles only (highest U.S. News ranking in the region):
- Obstetrics & Gynecology
Additionally, Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital has been recognized with six “High Performing” designations from U.S. News & World Report for 2025–2026. This honor reflects the hospital’s strong commitment to delivering exceptional care across key specialties and conditions.
Cedars-Sinai affiliates Torrance Memorial Health and Huntington Health also earned high state and local rankings. Torrance Memorial Health ranked #8 in California and #3 in Los Angeles, while Huntington Health was #10 in California and #5 in Los Angeles.
The California Rehabilitation Institute—a partnership of Cedars-Sinai, UCLA Health and Select Medical—was the #24 rehabilitation hospital in the country. U.S. News evaluated 1,049 rehab hospitals and ranked the top 50 for their care of patients recovering from events such as stroke, traumatic brain injuries and severe burns.
