Cedars-Sinai Mobile Clinic to Provide Free Medical Care for Kids at a Northgate Market Location

WHAT

Cedars-Sinai is hitting the road in their mobile clinic, COACH (Community Outreach Assistance for Children’s Health) for Kids, to help parents get their children caught up on their vaccines and provide them with free medical care.

Services offered include:

  • Physical examinations (ages 0–18)
  • Immunizations, including childhood vaccinations, pediatric/adult flu shots and COVID-19 vaccinations
  • Treatment for minor illness
  • Pediatric hearing and vision screenings
  • Pediatric laboratory testing
  • Tuberculosis screenings for children and adults
  • Connections to a medical, dental, vision provider
  • Crisis intervention

WHY

COACH for Kids mobile medical clinic is dedicated to meeting the immediate medical, behavioral health and community needs of the South Los Angeles underserved pediatric patient population. COACH for Kids provides free transitional medical care and social support services, while connecting patients and their families to integrated quality healthcare and other community resources.

WHO

Children ages newborn up to 18 years old without a medical home who are uninsured or on Medi-Cal. Children younger than 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
