Cedars-Sinai Community Health Fair in South L.A.
Media Welcome to Cover Holistic Health Fair Offering Free Health Screenings and Education
WHAT: Cedars-Sinai healthcare professionals are offering the public a variety of free and important health screenings at a local church in South L.A. The free Jan. 28 screenings include glucose and cholesterol checks, blood pressure screenings, body mass index (BMI) screenings, and more. The health fair also will offer free health education in English and Spanish about cancer, stroke, osteoporosis prevention and nutrition. Additionally, health fair staff will be able to connect patients in need with local community health clinics for follow-up care.
WHO: Cedars-Sinai healthcare professionals will be on hand to offer free health services. They will be joined by other community partners, including Alzheimer’s Los Angeles and American Red Cross, as well as leadership from the House of God Apostolic Church, and more. This is an event welcoming the whole family.

Event to be held outdoors in church parking lot. Plentiful street parking.
