WHAT
Pediatric patients will be treated to a special Valentine’s Day celebration this week when 10 dogs and their handlers from the POOCH program visit patients at Cedars-Sinai Guerin Children’s. Patients will also receive toy puppies donated by philanthropist and Cedars-Sinai Life Trustee Maxine Dunitz. The toys, created by Joy For All, are interactive companion pets and have lifelike fur coats. Additionally, the Smidt Heart Institute at Cedars-Sinai will be distributing Valentine’s Day gift bags to all pediatric patients and their families.
