3D printed hearts like the one in this video are giving doctors a chance to look at a patient’s heart—and even hold it in their hands—before they enter the operating room.
Using CT and MRI scans, the Women’s Guild Simulation Center can 3D print an exact replica of a patient’s heart, allowing surgeons to plan and practice on the replicas before surgery.
