Online Scheduling Now Available at Cedars-Sinai
Making an appointment with a primary care or women’s health specialist at Cedars-Sinai is easier than ever. Whether you’re a new or existing patient, we now offer the convenience of online scheduling. In keeping with Cedars-Sinai’s standards, the new platform was also designed to be best in class, using the most up-to-date technology and created with the patient experience in mind.

Best option for many patients
“We were already exploring the idea of online scheduling when the pandemic arrived and pushed many activities into the virtual realm,” says Christina Valls, associate director of Product and Enablement at Cedars-Sinai. “Online booking became so common—including for some healthcare services—that patients started asking for it at doctors’ offices too.”
Cedars-Sinai paid attention. The platform was launched last year, adding an efficient and reliable option for patients who find online scheduling the most efficient way to make an appointment.
All pros, no Cons
Patients have direct access to the same scheduling slots that call-center agents see. What’s more, the online tool is accessible 24/7, so patients who can’t easily call during the center’s hours of 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. may find the platform especially useful.
Use online scheduling—and spread the word
Online scheduling is available for Adult Primary Care, Women’s Health and Pediatric Primary Care, with other specialties expected to be available soon.
To see how it works, check out the Adult Primary Care Online Scheduling page. You’ll be asked if you’re a new or existing patient and what type of care you’re looking for: an office visit for new or follow-up care, a physical exam or a video appointment.
Each option will be described so you can choose what’s right for you. You can also search for specific providers or locations, or choose from a list of physicians, doctors of osteopathy, nurse practitioners and physician assistants. Fill in your preferred dates and times and you’ll be on your way.
Existing patients can also go directly to My CS-Link to schedule online, using either a browser or Cedars-Sinai’s mobile app. Once logged in, choose “Schedule an Appointment” under the main menu and select the appropriate appointment type under “Tell us why you’re coming in.”
“Don’t forget to tell your friends and family about the new scheduling platform, and encourage them to use it,” says Valls. “It’s just the latest example of how Cedars-Sinai strives to make the patient experience as smooth as possible.”
