Nicole received her BS from Carnegie Mellon. During her PhD with Dr. Benjamin Berman at Cedars-Sinai she used whole genome bisulfite sequencing in ovarian cancer to identify new models of tumor progression in chemoresistant disease. Nicole now focuses on the interaction between tumor microenvironment and immune pathways in ovarian cancer.

Pei-Chen Peng obtained her PhD in computer science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2018. She received a K99 Pathway to Independence Award in 2021 and a Google Anita Borg Award in 2012. Pei-Chen uses machine learning and statistical modeling to improve the prevention and treatment of cancer.

Jessica earned her MPH in applied epidemiology at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). Jessica works with the Gilda Radner Hereditary Cancer Program to analyze genetic and epidemiologic risk factors in those at high risk for ovarian and breast cancer. Jessica also maintains the Ovarian Cancer Association Consortium database.

Kruttika earned her MS in molecular pharmacology and toxicology at the University of Southern California. Her research applies statistical, bioinformatics and machine-learning tools to proteomics data to study disease progression and recurrence for biomarker discovery in ovarian cancer.

Mike earned his BS at Azusa Pacific University in 2013 and his MS in experimental and molecular pathology from the University of Southern California in 2017. Mike’s focus is on applying multi-omic analyses to tumors with a specific focus on the role of structural variation in tumor progression.

Irina earned her BS in microbiology, immunology and molecular genetics at UCLA in 2020. Her research is focused on the role of structural variants as risk alleles for ovarian cancer. Irina works with locally generated whole genome sequencing, long read sequencing and biobank data sets.
