Imaging is integral to both clinical and research programs, allowing for improved and more efficient diagnosis, evaluation of therapeutic effectiveness and a host of research applications. With the capabilities that today's technologies provide, the imaging expert is a key contributor to clinical teams in the diagnosis and therapeutic evaluation of a broad spectrum of diseases.

Physicians and technologists at the S. Mark Taper Foundation Imaging Center perform and interpret almost 500,000 inpatient and outpatient exams and procedures every year, using state-of-the-art imaging technologies while providing innovative treatment options.
