Cedars-Sinai Unveils Outpatient Services in Playa Vista
Location Features Urgent Care Clinic and Primary Care Services, With Pediatrics and OB-GYN Following Soon
To serve the growing Silicon Beach community and nearby Westside areas, Cedars-Sinai has opened new outpatient services in Playa Vista, offering urgent care and primary care, with pediatrics coming this month and OB/GYN following soon.
"The new offices are part of our ongoing efforts to bring our doctors closer to where our patients and employees live and work," said John Jenrette, MD, executive vice president of Cedars-Sinai Medical Network.
In addition to primary care physicians, Playa Vista has a care team of nurse practitioners and physician assistants who can address many patient needs.
Other features of the new location include on-site labs, and X-ray and obstetric ultrasound services. Wellness services as well as disease prevention and management programs will be added in 2019.
"The new location features a sophisticated, calming design and a new, more efficient layout and workflow that let doctors focus more on their patients and make for a better experience," said Mary Clare Lingel, vice president of Strategic Integration at Cedars-Sinai Medical Network.
The medical offices — 32,000 square feet spread across three floors — are in the heart of Silicon Beach, at the Runway Playa Vista Shopping Plaza, 12746 W. Jefferson Blvd., above Lyfe Kitchen. The location is convenient to Culver City, Mar Vista, Marina del Rey, Playa del Rey and Westchester.
Urgent care hours are noon to 9 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends. Patients can drop in to see a provider same-day. Most forms of insurance are accepted, including HMO, POS, PPO and Medicare.
