Los Angeles — Aug. 11, 2016 — Cedars-Sinai and the Los Angeles Rams today announced a multiyear partnership making Cedars-Sinai the official health partner of the Los Angeles Rams. As part of the new relationship, the two organizations will promote health and wellness across Los Angeles in an effort to help communities stay fit and healthy.

With professional football returning to Los Angeles for the first time in more than two decades, the Rams and Cedars-Sinai are preparing to roll out community outreach programs that will highlight the importance of exercise, healthy eating, preventive healthcare and health education for school-age children and others.

As part of these efforts, the two will host local events for PLAY 60, the NFL's national youth health and fitness campaign focused on increasing the wellness of young fans by encouraging them to be active for at least 60 minutes a day.

"The Rams have come home, and we're very excited to join with them to promote healthier living for families throughout Los Angeles," said Thomas M. Priselac, president and CEO of Cedars-Sinai. "This is a true partnership of two organizations committed to working together to improve the health of communities."

As a homecoming partner with the Rams, Cedars-Sinai also will serve as the presenting sponsor of the Kids Zone at all Rams home games, a fun and interactive play area that will be open during pregame just outside Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in the Rams Fan Fest area.

"We are pleased to partner with Cedars-Sinai, a healthcare organization known for its deep roots in the community," said Kevin Demoff, chief operating officer of the Rams. "The Rams strive to make our communities better, and we are excited to work with an institution that shares this goal and is dedicated to improving the health and wellness of Los Angeles."
