Application Information

The admissions process of the Master's Degree in Health Delivery Science (MHDS) program is competitive and considers students who demonstrate exceptional potential to succeed in graduate study. The admissions committee is seeking students who have a high level of academic achievement, including an excellent grasp of empirical and social sciences.

Who Should Apply?

The MHDS degree is for professionals seeking to develop foundational skills and knowledge in health delivery science with an aim to become leaders in healthcare organizations. Many of our students are already healthcare professionals who seek to expand their influence within and beyond their organizations.

The program is ideal for those who may be considering a more traditional degree in public health, yet want deeper exposure to modern analytic techniques and applied skills; or for students contemplating an MBA who are interested in the business of healthcare delivery.

The program is also well suited for pre-health students who seek additional gap year experience in healthcare before starting an MD, RN, PharmD or other clinical degree.

Application Fee Waiver

The MHDS program will waive the application fee for applicants who are participating in—or who have participated in—an eligible program for at least a year. The fee waiver is a one-time offer for eligible applicants.

Tuition and Assistance

The program cost is $600/credit hour. Employees of Cedars-Sinai health system eligible for Cedars-Sinai's tuition assistance program may receive up to $15,750 in assistance.

We also provide a limited number of academic scholarships each year for highly meritorious individuals from both within and outside of Cedars-Sinai.
