Training & Curriculum

The focus is to obtain proficiency in all aspects of clinical neurophysiology, including epileptology, electromyography, intraoperative monitoring and evoked potentials. The one-year program provides clinical exposure to a wide variety of neuromuscular diseases through the outpatient clinics at Cedars-Sinai and the University of California, Los Angeles. Fellows also are exposed to the medical and surgical evaluation of seizure disorders, including drug trials, pre-surgical work-up and sophisticated functional neuroimaging for localization of the epileptogenic region.

The fellow participates in research activities and is required to have at least one research project.
