Jennifer Leung is a doctoral rotation student at Cedars-Sinai. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a bachelor's degree in psychology. Before coming to Cedars-Sinai, Leung worked as a research assistant at UCLA. Her research interests are developing novel therapeutic approaches for stroke.
Phillip Lam graduated from UCLA with a bachelor of science in neuroscience. His research interests include neuroengineering, mental health and neurological disorders. In the Gulati Lab, Lam works in constructing behavioral boxes for rodents, animal behavioral training and data collection, and analyses.
Shakthi Visagan is an undergraduate senior finishing his bachelor of science in bioengineering and mathematics at UCLA. Visagan’s goal is to use tools from engineering and systems neuroscience to broaden understanding of neural circuitry and animal behavior in order to create better prosthetics and brain-machine interfaces.
Saahil Patel is an undergraduate student at UCLA majoring in computational systems and biology. His career focus is on biomedical systems and medical devices.
