Palliative Medicine Fellowship

Director's Message

With a warm welcome, I thank you for your interest in the Palliative Medicine Fellowship at Cedars-Sinai.

I have found no greater privilege than in the practice of palliative medicine. Alongside an outstanding interdisciplinary team committed to person-centered patient care and transdisciplinary education, the Supportive Care Medicine faculty is pleased to offer a robust educational experience through our Palliative Medicine Fellowship program.

The fellowship boasts excellent opportunities in clinical consultation across multiple settings, research and electives. It is my hope that these experiences will prove clinically enriching and personally formative. Fellows will be challenged to approach clinical situations as physicians called to a humanistic ideal, and to reflect and discern the ways in which these intimate encounters aid in weaving the fabric of their own careers as clinicians, educators and future leaders in the field.

I sincerely hope that our educational mission meets your future career aspirations. I look forward to receiving your application.
