Explore the Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship at Cedars-Sinai

The Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship is an integrated, multidisciplinary one-year program that encompasses the study of benign and malignant breast disease, clinical research, epidemiology, risk factors, prevention, genetics, early detection, staging, treatment, oncoplastics, continuity of care, survivorship, psycho-oncology and quality of life. The fellows will participate in ongoing clinical research trials and will have the opportunity to create their own research study. There is a rigorous translational research program in which the fellows may choose to participate. Breast fellows also will prepare abstracts of their research for submission to meetings of surgical and/or oncology societies and will be mentored to assist with presentation and publication of their work. Completion of our fellowship will prepare the trainees for an academic career in breast surgical oncology while providing the fellows with the tools to be leaders in their field.
