Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery Residency

Thank you for your interest in the Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery Residency Program at Cedars-Sinai. Our division is committed to providing a training experience that covers the breadth and depth of otolaryngology, with the goal of preparing the next generation of surgeons for a career in either academic or community practice.

The Cedars-Sinai Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery Residency is a 5-year training program approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) for 2 residents per year. The educational curriculum is designed to provide a combination of hands-on clinical training, formal didactics and research experience. Resident training will be based primarily out of Cedars-Sinai in addition to rotations at the West Los Angeles VA Hospital and Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego.

Training & Curriculum

The goal of the residency program at Cedars-Sinai is first and foremost to provide elite clinical training. Residents gain experience in all facets of otolaryngology, including broad exposure to all major subspecialties and current therapeutic modalities. Graduating residents will be proficient in a wide variety of surgical procedures in both the outpatient and inpatient settings.

Application Information

Applications must be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Applicants must also register with the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). Residency applicant interviews are scheduled for December 5, 2019, January 7, 2020 and February 3, 2020.
