Victoria Pelham

Victoria Pelham is a writer for Cedars-Sinai Stories and Insights, exploring how physical, mental and social wellbeing are intertwined.

She focuses on stories that overpower the sting of shame and stigma, illuminating complex, often overlooked health challenges. In her writing, both features and poetry, she aims to spark wonder. She believes deeply in the power of words to bridge divides, shape perspectives—and, ultimately, to heal.

As a health journalist, Victoria was on the front lines of the decade’s defining health moments, such as the Affordable Care Act and the 21st Century Cures Act, translating their impact on patients. Her work has appeared across Bloomberg’s multimedia platforms, USA Today, The Desert Sun, The Arizona Republic and The Dallas Morning News.

Victoria holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in journalism and mass communication from Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication and Barrett, the Honors College.
