The Radiation Oncology Residency at Cedars-Sinai is a four-year program in clinical radiation oncology that is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. Its strength is based on a combination of superb patient-care opportunities, faculty sub-specialization with strength in multiple sub-sites, an expanding research program and the most advanced instrumentation. The Department of Radiation Oncology operates a centralized service that provides radiation oncology services to the hospital, cancer center and surrounding community. Residents will receive training in external beam radiation, including intensity-modulated radiation therapy, stereotactic cranial and body radiation therapy, and brachytherapy for breast, lung, prostate and gynecologic malignancies. The program is approved for a total of four residency trainees.
