Double Your Impact on Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday is right around the corner. Each year, this special day of giving falls on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. Giving Tuesday is based on the simple concept of doing good deeds for a day—for a worthy cause, a neighbor, even someone you don’t know personally. You can donate your time, resources or financial support.

This global generosity movement has humble beginnings, dating back to 2012 at a YMCA in New York. Since then, the campaign has gained momentum, with more than 240 communities, networks and coalitions participating across the U.S.

It’s a chance to support causes that matter to you and your family. For some, we hope that means a heartfelt gift to support Cedars-Sinai’s mission to advance groundbreaking research and provide life-changing care to those in need.

There are many ways to support Cedars-Sinai this Giving Tuesday—such as volunteering, donating blood and sharing your story.

This year’s Giving Tuesday campaign comes with an extra incentive: a matching gift. Whatever you generously donate from now through Giving Tuesday will be matched dollar for dollar up to $100,000. Your gift—no matter the amount—will help sustain the compassionate care and critical scientific studies that have helped Cedars-Sinai become a beacon of health and hope for our community—and in clinics beyond Southern California.

A gift to Cedars-Sinai can be used to support a variety of hospital functions, including our "Area of Greatest Need" fund, which directs resources where they’re needed most.
