Adult Volunteers
If you enjoy helping others and want to make a difference, Cedars-Sinai has an array of rewarding volunteer opportunities, both clinical and clerical. As a volunteer, you become an ambassador of empathy and compassion while making vital contributions to not only patients and their families, but to the medical center and the greater community.
There's a Volunteer Program That's Right for You
To learn more about our programs, please select one of the following that best fits your goals:
The Pre-Medical Student Volunteer Program is for undergraduate or post-baccalaureate students who are planning to go on to medical school. Rotations are offered 3 times a year: fall, spring and summer.
Various opportunities for other future healthcare professionals, such as nursing and physical therapy, give applicants an opportunity for real-world exposure to clinical and research-based careers.

The POOCH Volunteer Program allows registered therapy dogs and their owners to bring joy and healing to patients through the power of pet therapy. Applications are accepted year-round.

General Opportunities is designed for energetic adults who would like to be of service and give back. Applications for this program are open year-round.
