Miguel Quintero-Consuegra, MD
Research Associate II
Miguel graduated with honors from Universidad del Rosario (Bogotá, Colombia) as an MD. Through medical school, he was part of the neuroscience research group focusing on epilepsy and multiple sclerosis. During his intern year he managed patients in various services of neurology and neurosurgery, performing routine procedures (lumbar puncture), diagnosing and formulating under the supervision of the attending doctor. He has an interest in pursuing a neurosurgery residency. He has completed various projects on cerebrovascular diseases since he joined the Gonzalez Laboratory in 2019.
