Pediatric Center

At Cedars-Sinai, we aim to provide answers and insights to families with children affected by undiagnosed disorders. We are dedicated to developing ways to diagnose rare conditions. Each search for a diagnosis is customized to fit your child's needs.

Your child's team consists of pediatricians and pediatric specialists, including cardiologists, geneticists, neurologists, nephrologists, gastroenterologists, infectious disease physicians and other specialists. The team uses established protocols with new technologies to identify the cause of your child's issues.

The Pediatric Center team utilizes an array of diagnostic methods, including MRI, EEG, serology, endoscopy and biopsy, as well as genetic investigations such as SNP arrays, exome and whole genome sequencing. They also research the cause of your child's disorder to make the appropriate diagnosis.

The Pediatric Center is tailored to the needs of children and their families, especially during complicated evaluations. We make every effort to create a "kid-friendly" environment, so that your child will be at ease.
