When planning vacations, remember that certain countries outside the United States require vaccinations and other preventive medications. Our pharmacists hold a certificate in Travel Health®, awarded by the International Society of Travel Medicine, and they will help you receive a thorough consultation and evaluation of your immunization needs.
Services We Offer
During your consultation with our pharmacist, you will receive a personalized travel health booklet containing specific information about the places you plan to visit. The pharmacist will review the following health and travel concerns with you:
- Health risks associated with the places you are traveling
- Disease prevention
- Safe practices and precautions on the places you plan to visit if you are pregnant, are nursing or have a chronic health condition
- Vaccination requirements dictated by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization
- Proper food and water precautions to ensure good health
- Consular information sheets with travel warnings and safety conditions from the U.S. Department of State
Certain vaccinations and other preventive medications are recommended at least two to four weeks before entering certain areas of the world.

We request that you complete the Travel History Form. Providing us with as much information regarding your travel itinerary, previous immunization history, and current medical conditions will allow us to ensure we provide the best possible care to protect your health while traveling. Obtaining and bringing your previous immunization history to your visit will assure all appropriate and necessary vaccines are administered during the visit. It is important to be at least 15 minutes early for your appointment.
For an individual consultation please plan to be here for at least 1 hour. For a family consultation please plan to be here for at least 2 hours.
