Vascular Surgery

The Cedars-Sinai Vascular Surgery Program provides expert diagnosis and management of all arterial and venous disorders. The expertise of our board certified physicians includes all medical, minimally invasive and operative approaches to these problems.

Evaluations of our patients are supported by our modern noninvasive vascular laboratory and the full range of the most up-to-date imaging modalities. National recognition has been gained for excellent outcomes of treatment of carotid stenoses, aortic aneursyms and lower extremity circulatory problems.

In the 1980's, vascular surgeons at Cedars-Sinai gained national recognition for reporting some of the best results in the country for carotid endarterectomy, an operation to remove narrowings in the main artery to the brain. More recently, our surgeons have pioneered new minimally invasive treatments for obstructions in the arteries of leg and problematic venous stasis disease.

Many of the physicians who have medical staff privileges to practice medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center are independent physicians, and not employees or agents of the hospital. These independent physicians bill separately for their services. You should contact your physician to determine their status and billing practices.
