The Department of Psychiatry work closely with physicians and other caregivers to address the mental health concerns faced by patients who are currently in the hospital. Research and Clinical Trials
The Psychiatry Department at Cedars-Sinai works to discover new behavioral healthcare delivery strategies that will improve patients' overall health and wellbeing.
Grand Rounds and Conferences
The Psychiatry Department hosts an annual continuing medical education program focused on healthcare provider well-being. The course offers strategies for looking into and nurturing your overall wellness. Included are several activities that foster social and emotional well-being. All healthcare professionals are encouraged to attend to enhance and manage work/life balance and promote growth.
The Psychiatry Department also participates in Neurosciences Grand Rounds, which offer insights into the treatment of a wide range of neurological conditions, as well as the management and diagnosis of neurological disorders.
The sessions are on the third and fourth Fridays of each month.
