Primary Care Quality Measures

The Primary Care team strives to deliver top-quality care to all patients. As part of this commitment, we are dedicated to providing transparency for our patient outcome rates across a number of procedures.

The information below provides an in-depth look at the data for key procedures performed by the Cedars-Sinai, as well as their outcome rates. These reports aim to reduce ambiguity in procedure outcome data, so that patients and their loved ones can make decisions with the utmost confidence regarding their medical care.

The Joint Commission has established immunization guidelines based on recommendations from a 2006 National Quality Forum Immunization Workgroup. These guidelines for influenza and pneumonia vaccination apply to all patients, regardless of the reason they were admitted to the hospital.

The chart below shows Cedars-Sinai's performance compared to other medical centers and hospitals around the nation. This measure is reported by hospitals when influenza vaccines are typically given, January-March and October-December. Data is not collected during April-June or July-September.
