The team at our Regenerative Orthobiologics Center works to discover, translate and evaluate stem cell and gene therapies and biomarkers that help patients suffering from orthopaedic conditions. Groundbreaking research led by Cedars‑Sinai orthopedic surgeon Dr. Natasha Trentacosta explores why women and girls who play sports are much more susceptible to ligament tears and injuries. A pivotal study suggests a hormonal role, which could yield solutions that level the playing field.
