Meet the General Internal Medicine Expert Team
The physicians of the Division of General Internal Medicine are engaged in a diverse range of professional activities, including general medical outpatient care, inpatient care, research and teaching of medical students, residents and fellows. Members of the division have undertaken a number of research and quality improvement activities designed to augment patient safety and promote the practice of evidence-based medicine. Full-time faculty physicians care for patients in the clinic, in the hospital and in the intensive care unit, as well as provide specialty services in areas such as the Employee Health Service and the Procedure Center.
Many of the physicians who have medical staff privileges to practice medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center are independent physicians, and not employees or agents of the hospital. These independent physicians bill separately for their services. You should contact your physician to determine their status and billing practices.
