The Hypertension Center at the Smidt Heart Institute is bringing the strength of more than two dozen clinicians and researchers together with groundbreaking clinical research and technology to build one of the nation’s leading centers for the treatment of drug-resistant and secondary hypertension.

The Hypertension Center’s specialized team is at the forefront of the field’s most exciting advances in treatment. This comprehensive approach provides confirmatory testing, consultation, and both surgical and nonsurgical treatment options for patients with severe, uncontrolled or unexplained hypertension.
