Featured Research: Stem Cell Trials
Stem cells, which can be harvested from several different parts of the body, have the potential to improve heart function when delivered directly in the heart. At the Smidt Heart Institute, we are enrolling interested adult patients who, despite optimal medical therapy, have symptoms because of a prior heart attack or cardiomyopathy. One of these studies is the CardiAMP™ trial, in which eligible patients have their own bone marrow processed and injected into their heart to potentially improve heart function and symptoms.
Medical Professionals and Postgraduates
Cedars-Sinai offers graduate studies, continuing medical education, conferences, symposiums and other professional opportunities for learning, discovery and training.
