Full Study Name
The HeartFlow ADVANCE Registry: Assessing Diagnostic Value of Non-Invasive FFRCT in Coronary Care (IRB no. 43903)
Summary
The purpose of this research registry is to evaluate the effectiveness of a technology called Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR-CT), a computer assessment that could clarify the results of the coronary computed tomography angiogram (CCTA), in patients with coronary artery disease. The results from the FFR-CT analysis may help guide treatment recommendations by providing additional information about the patient’s CCTA scan results.
The ADVANCE Registry, sponsored by HeartFlow (the company that developed FFR-CT technology), does not require any additional healthcare visits or scans. CCTA scans are sent to HeartFlow for FFR-CT measurement, and participants will be contacted for follow-up questionnaires regarding heart-related health care five times over three years.
