Maggie Taylor, PhD, HEC-C

Maggie Taylor, PhD, HEC-C, joined the faculty of Cedars-Sinai to become a Health Associate in the Center for Healthcare Ethics in July 2023.

Clinically, Dr. Taylor serves as one of the ethics consultants for Cedars-Sinai's Clinical Ethics Consultation Service. Institutionally, she is a member of Cedars-Sinai’s Bioethics Committee and co-leader of CSMC’s Art and Medicine program. Dr. Taylor’s interests lie in clarifying the moral concerns of those involved in a clinical encounter through clinical ethics consultations. In her research, she addresses questions about how roles like family member or healthcare provider generate special moral responsibilities to patients.
