Cedars-Sinai's dedication to serving our senior patients has earned it the highest level of recognition from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement as an Age-Friendly Health System—Committed to Care Excellence. The designation highlights our hospital's leadership in prioritizing the needs of seniors including in the areas of medication, mental health and mobility. Cedars-Sinai Geriatrics offers the Leveraging Exercise to Age in Place (LEAP) research programs to adults age 50 and older living in the community. Our exercise classes aim to help prevent falls and increase social connectedness. We offer live virtual exercise classes as part of the LEAP research study.

Conditions We Treat
We treat a wide range of geriatric conditions, including preventive care, health and wellness, cognitive impairment and dementia, delirium, and falls and fall prevention.
At Cedars-Sinai, we value open, ongoing communication with our referring doctors. When patients receive care from the geriatrics team, we communicate directly with their primary care doctor regarding their consultation, treatment and progress.
