Here are some of the treatments offered at Cedars-Sinai:
Acute pancreatitis: The Pancreatic and Biliary Diseases team treats both sudden and long-term inflammation of the pancreas in a number of ways, including using pain relievers, intravenous fluids, minimally invasive surgery or conventional surgery, depending on the diagnosis.
Endoscopy services: The Pancreatic and Interventional Endoscopy Services team at Cedars-Sinai specializes in diagnosing and treating the full spectrum of diseases of the pancreas and bile ducts.
Pain management: Chronic pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer both can cause a great deal of pain, though the severity varies widely. The primary goal of both surgical and nonsurgical procedures for chronic pancreatitis and cancer is to relieve this pain.
