Spiritual Care

The Spiritual Care Department provides interfaith support to meet the needs of patients, families and loved ones.

To help you through your cancer treatment, we offer:

  • Assessment of spiritual distress or pain
  • Support appropriate to your religious or nonreligious perspective
  • Rituals, ceremonies, sacraments and texts
  • Tools to promote resilience
  • Support in finding meaning and purpose during the cancer experience
  • Company during doctor visits, scans and initial radiation treatment
  • Reiki and meditation
  • Outreach to external clergy or community
  • Lifecycle events such as memorial services, baptisms, weddings, commitment ceremonies
  • Support at end-of-life
