Patient Education Seminars

Introduction to Weight Loss Surgery

The Cedars-Sinai Weight Loss Center offers informative seminars for patients considering weight loss surgery. The seminar, led by one of our physicians and our clinical program coordinator, covers the benefits and potential risks associated with weight loss surgery.

The program educates patients on what to expect during their weight loss journey, from consultation to surgery to follow-up care. Attending this seminar is the first step toward bariatric surgery or a gastric bypass procedure. Our expert team utilizes minimally invasive surgical techniques and is committed to providing the best patient experience.

For detailed information on the comprehensive patient journey, please see our patient education binder.
