Judaism

For many people, spirituality is an important part of their lives, especially when dealing with health issues. At Cedars-Sinai, we recognize the role that faith plays in healing. We welcome our Jewish patients, their families and loved ones and offer many ways for you to practice your faith while you're here.

Patients, visitors and staff members can continue to practice their Jewish faith while at Cedars-Sinai. We offer certified kosher meal options, a list of kosher restaurants in the area, and special holiday observances.

Shabbat and other services are held in our chapel and some are televised, and our chaplains can assist you with religious rituals and observances. You'll also find information on advance healthcare directives that comply with Jewish traditions.

You'll find a number of synagogues nearby, where you can attend services and nurture your faith.
