Hospital Admitting

At Cedars-Sinai, we work hard to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Our Hospitality Center at 310-423-4444 or hospital extension 3-4444 is available to assist you with any kind of information and to arrange special requests such as a temporary bed for a visitor to stay overnight with you, in-room refrigerator and meal trays for guests.

In addition, the Hospitality Center can arrange for deluxe patient food services, a special meal service available for a flat fee per day or on an a la carte basis. You may also order a fully Glatt kosher food service from our kosher kitchen. Simply ask your food service representative or call the Hospitality Center.

Pre-Admitting

At Cedars-Sinai, we believe that admission to the hospital should be both simple and quick. The first step is that your doctor makes a reservation for you. If the doctor's reservation is made a few days prior to your scheduled admission, we may call you for more information to make your admission faster on the day you arrive. To make your preadmission go faster, you may also submit your OB Pre-Admission Form (PDF) or General Admission Pre-Admission Form (PDF) by fax.

When You Arrive

On the day of admission, you will come directly to the information desk on the street level of the South Tower on Gracie Allen Drive. A hospital representative will escort you to the Admitting Office or to your room. View a map of Cedars-Sinai parking locations.

Upon admission, you will receive hospital information, including a Patient and Family Guide (PDF).

Maternity Patients

Maternity patients come directly to the Emergency Department on the street level of the North Tower on Gracie Allen Drive. A hospital representative will take you to Labor & Delivery.
