COVID-19: Postponements and Cancellations
Postponement of Elective Surgeries
Beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020, elective surgeries and procedures at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital will be postponed. Urgent and emergent procedures will continue as needed.
We anticipate that this policy will be in effect for at least the next two weeks but will be re-evaluated as the COVID-19 situation evolves. We are committed to ensuring that all our patients have access to the care they need as well as remaining committed to our community by ensuring that our staff, supplies and resources remain available for the evolving COVID-19 pandemic.
We understand that this decision will cause inconvenience for our patients and staff. Please be assured that we will be making every effort to reschedule these surgeries and procedures as soon as possible.
Outpatient Appointments Postponement
To reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our community during this unprecedented time, we are asking patients to postpone all nonessential appointments or shift these appointments to phone visits until May 1. This date may change as we learn more about COVID-19 spread and transmission in our community.
If you have questions about an upcoming appointment, please contact your provider's office for further guidance. Please know that your physician will be available if you need to be seen for an urgent health matter or if your health status changes.
To help ensure the safety of our community during the COVID-19 outbreak, we're postponing or canceling select Cedars-Sinai events. Please check the events calendar for updates or contact event organizers to confirm.
