National Nursing Publication Ranks Cedars-Sinai Among Best Hospital Employers for Nurses
Los Angeles - March 30, 2009 – Cedars-Sinai Medical Center earned a spot on Nursing Professionals magazine’s “Top 100 Hospitals to Work For 2009.”
The Nursing Professionals honor resulted from a survey sent to 25,000 randomly selected hospital nurses throughout the country measuring their job satisfaction. Nurses responded to questions on their hospital’s commitment to training and professional development, flexibility in working arrangements, dedication to diversity and the strength of the “nursing voice” at the hospital.

For 10 consecutive years, Cedars-Sinai nurses have been named the best among all Los Angeles area hospitals in the annual Consumer Choice survey conducted by the National Research Corporation.
In 2008, Cedars-Sinai earned its third consecutive Magnet designation for nursing excellence from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. In its independent review, the ANCC found that Cedars-Sinai’s nursing services “represent the highest standards in the nation and internationally.”
