Perioperative Services Nursing Internships
Operating Room Training Program
Cedars‑Sinai's Perioperative Services specializes in a wide range of surgical cases ranging from transplant to outpatient surgery. The training programs provide a combination of clinical experience, didactic teaching and hands-on skills in our Women’s Guild Simulation Center for Advanced Clinical Skills.

PACU Training Program
Cedars‑Sinai's Perioperative Services specializes in a wide range of surgical cases ranging from transplant to outpatient surgery. The PACU Training Program prepares nurses to care for a wide range of complex surgical patients in our blended units.

Emergency Department Nurse Internship
The Ruth and Harry Roman Emergency Department at Cedars‑Sinai provides emergency care to a diverse community of adult and pediatric patients. Cedars‑Sinai is a Level I trauma center and an ST‑Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI) and Stroke Receiving Center. Nurses receive training in emergency, triage and trauma care based off the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) Scope and Standards of Practice.

Nearly 7,000 women experience low‑ and high-risk births at Cedars‑Sinai every year. We care for laboring patients in our newly redesigned laboring rooms or operating rooms, and high‑risk perinatal patients in our Maternal-Fetal Care Unit.
