At Cedars-Sinai, we believe leadership development and succession planning are critical activities for securing transformational leaders at all levels of nursing practice across the organization.

Rising Star Leadership Program
The Rising Star Leadership Program is a succession-planning program for clinical nurses. This leadership-development program was created and sponsored by the Geri and Richard Brawerman Nursing Institute to develop our clinical nurses to become stronger nurse leaders.

Emerging Leader Program
The Emerging Leader Program is designed to offer interprofessional development opportunities to those who are new to entry-level leadership positions. This program focuses on cultivating and promoting leadership skills that position participants for internal promotion at Cedars-Sinai.
