Physical Therapy Orthopedic Residency Program

Since 2001, Cedars-Sinai Outpatient Rehabilitation Services, as part of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, has offered an Outpatient Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency Program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) through the American Board of Physical Therapy Resident and Fellowship Education (ABPTRFE).

This yearlong postgraduate residency focuses on improving the orthopaedic evaluation, examination and treatment skills of physical therapists with the goal of improving outcomes for our patients. This program prepares the resident for board certification in orthopaedic

Training & Curriculum
  • Scheduled weekly mentored time with OCS credentialed staff clinicians.
  • Attendance in a long-term weekend specialty exam preparatory course through the Kaiser Permanente Southern California.
  • Physical Therapy Residency and Fellowship Programs.
