Cedars-Sinai has an internationally recognized Division of Renal Transplantation, including the Transplant Immunotherapy Program. There also are pediatric and adult nephrology divisions, contributing to the biopsy material, of which 80 percent comes from referring institutions.

Three immunofluorescence and two electron microscopes are available. The full spectrum of immunohistochemistry is available, with additional IHC and IF studies specifically for renal pathology. The Medical Library contains 11,000 volumes and 400 print and online subscriptions, with library materials also available from UCLA Medical Center.
