Join Exercise in the Park All Summer

Next week, we're kicking off our 7th year of Exercise in the Park, a program offered by the Cedars-Sinai Healthy Habits team.

This summer series brings daily free workout classes to the community with a variety of exercises from trained instructors. The classes will be taking place daily Monday through Thursday 8:30-9:30 am, starting June 18 through August 10.

Classes include activities like Zumba, as well as a combination of aerobics and strength training. Each one-hour session begins with a warm-up and ends with a gentle cool down.

No sign-up is necessary—just show up and join in!

While the workouts are targeted for adults, all fitness levels and ages are welcome to join in. Instructors will offer modifications throughout each class so participants can tailor the exercise to their own skill levels.

"Exercise in the Park provides a safe and supportive space for community members to exercise," says Carolyn Buenaflor, associate director of Healthy Habits. "Many parents bring their children to play in the park at the same time."
