Jill Martin has been a key member of the Medical Network leadership team since she joined Cedars-Sinai in 1997 and oversees the financial and operational management of the Medical Network's 800 physicians and 1,500 staff; serving more than 220,000 patients. The Medical Network now also includes ambulatory services supportive to our expanding geography to include surgicenters, imaging centers, physical therapy centers and urgent cares. In addition, the Medical Network also includes managed care management services delegated from the California payors.

Martin began her healthcare career as an auditor for Ernst & Young’s corporate healthcare practice in Washington, D.C. She also worked as a controller for Inova Health System’s affiliated physician practices before joining Cedars-Sinai Medical Network as director of Finance. She was promoted to vice president of Finance and became chief operating officer in 2015. With her role and responsibilities growing as the Medical Network expands, she was promoted to senior vice president in July 2017.

Martin is a member of a number of community boards, including serving as treasurer of Imagine LA, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending the cycle of family homelessness in Los Angeles. She is a member of the Medical Group Management Association and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.

Martin earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Richmond and graduated as a certified public accountant.
