Iren E. Chen, MD is an attending radiologist at the S. Mark Taper Foundation Imaging Center. She specializes in the area of abdominal imaging.
Dr. Chen is board certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology. She is a member of the New York Roentgen Ray Society, American College of Radiology and Radiological Society of North America. In addition, she completed two years of research in the Department of Endocrinology at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
Dr. Chen received her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. She completed her internship at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City and her residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Cornell Medical Center. She was granted a fellowship in abdominal imaging at the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center.
